Easy Rooting For Samsung i897, Captivate

Requirements:

Samsung Captivate i897 with Gingerbread 2.3.X
I897UCKF1 – Auto root kernel
Download USB drivers for device.
Download ODIN and install-Run it on your system.

Instructions:

Put your phone into download mode. Hold Vol+ and Vol- at same time and plug your usb cable.
Flash with Odin in the PDA slot, no pit, no re-partition. All done! your phone should now boot up all rooted.
To Boot into CWM hold VOL+ and VOL- and press power to turn on the device and wait until enter in cwm.
